Héliocéan is established in 1979 in New Caledonia, Hélicocéan is based at Magenta airport and Koné airport.
Its shareholders are the Australian group McDermott Aviation and the Georges Montagnat SMGM mining company.
Hélicocéan possesses its own Part145 maintenance department and PartM/G airworthiness management. Hélicocéan maintains 11 helicopters and manages its own fleet composed of 4 Squirrels AS350BA-B2 and B3, and of 2 EC135P2 +.
Hélicocéan company is certified as an Air Operator under the OPS 3T regulations, and is authorized to realize different missions such as public transportation and aerial work.
